The company is the fourth largest seed company in the world. The software VARIO is the answer to what Limagrain needed: a package that simplifies management and supports a number of processes in plant logistics and prevention. This way, we know exactly what needs to be done, and we gain insight into the status of our work equipment very quickly. We use VARIO for work equipment management, risk analysis, fleet, asset, and complaint management. Many of the pre-built modules meet our needs. We find in the software a partner that thinks for us. For example, we know in advance which inspections and maintenance we need to perform, and we get a very quick overview of all inventory lists. This gives us a perfect insight into the status of our materials, goods, and fleet. The system ensures that all information is linked and everything is centralised on one platform. In this way, everyone involved has easy access to all the information they need. The main challenge for us today is our new location. For the purchase of new work equipment, we need orderly purchasing procedures with risk analyses, and we need to be able to track inspections and maintenance tasks. The fact that the VARIO team consists of both prevention consultants and IT experts is a great added value for us. Practical questions about the software are quickly clarified with new updates and we get answers very quickly for working out new procedures in the software. We can definitely recommend VARIO to other prevention consultants and facility staff, as the administration is greatly simplified.
